3-Point block backward differentiation formula with an off-step point for the solutions of stiff chemical reaction problems

چکیده
Abstract A major challenge in simulating chemical reaction processes is integrating the stiff systems of Ordinary Differential Equations (ODEs) describing reactions due to stiffness. Thus, it would be interest search systematically for solvers that are close optimal such problems. This paper presents an implicit 3-Point Block Backward Differentiation Formula with one off-step point (3POBBDF) solutions first-order In deriving method, Lagrange polynomial was adopted as basis function. The further analyses basic properties 3POBBDF which include order accuracy, consistence, zero-stability, and convergence. stability region well interval instability method also computed. To demonstrate accuracy proposed approach, some famous problems Robertson problem Chemical AKZO were solved, results obtained compared those existing methods. clearly show performs better than methods we our results.
